![]() ![]() ![]() The air-cooled 350cc four-stroke OHC single was overhauled in 2021 with a Wiseco standard piston kit and a replacement petcock, ignition coil, alternator, and spark plug. The three-wheeler did not come equipped with an odometer or other instrumentation, therefore true mileage is unknown. The handlebar was powder-coated black and sits atop a four-bolt forged-aluminum triple clamp and is equipped with a replacement thumb-operated throttle lever, cables, levers, and grips. Braking is from single discs at both ends that were overhauled and fitted with replacement pads and hoses. Suspension consists of a leading-axle fork with blue gaiters as well as a box-section swingarm with replacement bearings connected to a gas-charged monoshock with a remote reservoir and four-way adjustable rebound damping. Multi-piece wheels are wrapped in 23×8-11″ Cheetah front and 22×10-9″ Ohtsu H-Trak P/V 702 rear tires. The grab bar, rear skid plate, and foot pegs were power-coated and assorted hardware was zinc-plated. ![]() Equipment includes a recovered blue solo seat with 350X graphics, a 2.6-gallon fuel tank, a front skid plate, a taillight, twin headlights, replacement air scoops on the fuel tank, and a frame-mounted toolbox beneath the left fender. The only mishap that occurred during the ride was the fact that my fork boots quit on me. I rode for as long as my face and hands could endure, and then I went on home. Towards the end I rip around the Northampton Campgrounds which are closed for the season. And it has a SuperTrapp exhaust on it to help it breath. I've put a 400EX carburetor on it to help fuel it and improve starting. It's got a Web Cam 340b high performance cam in it with Kibble White valve springs. It's bored 50 over with a 10.25:1 Wiseco piston. This 350X has has a fair amount of work done to it. I pulled out my GPS speed app and turned it on, and, well, you'll have to watch the video to find out how it went! Time to ride!ĭown on the lake it was gorgeous, clear, and FREEZING! I toured around a little bit and decided the conditions were optimal for a top speed run to see what the old three wheeler would do. It was so stinking cold that she struggled to come to life. Not my first rodeo with cold temps, so let's go have some fun! I'm thick blooded though, so I figured I'd be fine. The winter got off to a slow start, so we've only just been able to get out on the ice. It was -1 Degrees Fahrenheit out and I got the great idea to go take a rip on my 85 350X out on the Great Sacandaga Lake here in upstate NY. ![]()
